First Impasse, the title of this piece, is my most "famous" SasuSaku, if not overall fanart, yet. Done for the challenge at the SasuSaku forum Simply Love, I had the honor of winning the fanart category. Copy-paste comment from my deviantART:
This was done for Simply Love's (a SasuSaku forum I'm in) first contest which came at a baaad time for me. Hence the sketchiness and rush job coloring. I don't remember how long it took me, since I probably worked on it about 5-15 minutes at a given time for the last weeks, but according to openCanvas's event file, the total production time is a little over 2 hours (man, that sure didn't felt like 2 hours).
The original one was titled "First Suicide" which is just me wanting some star-crossed SasuSaku angst XD XD XD Too angsty, I decided, so this is the "happier one" (same position, but replace their kunai with katanas, you'll know what I mean). It's also been quite a while since I drew this amount of blood and gaping wounds in color, hopefully I haven't lost my touch yet, lol XD XD XD
Here's a face detail: I must admit, my favorite part is how I drew the blood down Sakura's face.
And here's a higher res version: I just noticed I missed some spots in coloring. Hm...
